PC Tune Up

Remember when you first bought your computer? You plugged it in, ran the first-time setup and you had an all singing all dancing machine which ran like a dream. Then, after time, things started to change. The machine takes longer to start-up, applications appear sluggish, your favourite websites become unavailable, and then the system gives up the ghost and crashes.

These are all side effects of prolonged system usage; especially when you consider all the applications that have been installed and removed,  the numerous operating system updates that have succeeded and failed, and the myriad of websites that have been visited, some of which are inadvertently of dubious origin, and the traces they leave behind.

 Phoenix  Computing offers a Computer Health Check & PC Tune Up service where up to 40 tests are performed on a system's functionality.  These tests run computer hardware diagnostics, analyse Windows operating system configuration and reliability,  examine application software  behaviour, and check network connectivity issues.

 

The results of these tests enables us to implement changes to optimise a systems performance making it faster and more reliable. Startup times are reduced, there are fewer application errors and system crashes, and Internet performance  is improved.

 

The tests also highlight where improvements may be made to increase a systems performance, and provide information regarding potential problems and possible solutions.
